Featuring built-in PIR and microwave detection sensors and tri-focus optics technology, the ISC-PDL1-W18G Professional Series TriTech+ Motion Detector from Bosch uses optics with three focal lengths for long-, medium-, and short-range coverage. Its 90° field of view covers a 60 x 80' area, or a narrowed 25 x 33' area. Sensor Data Fusion technology analyzes signals from all five sensors including two pyroelectric sensors, a range adaptive finder, a room temperature sensor, and a white light level sensor to provide accurate detection.

The detector adjusts its sensitivity to compensate for weather, ensuring accurate operation in varying weather conditions, and features self-adjusting LED brightness to automatically adjust to surrounding light levels. There is a blue LED that indicates an alarm condition and activates during a remote walk test. The detector is immune to drafts, insects, and small animals under 10 lb, helping to reduce false alarms. Installation is quick with its self-locking enclosure and built-in bubble level.
